SHINE ON:PINK FLOYD TRIBUTE ΚΑΙ MAGIC POWER ALL STAR TRIBUTE TO TRIUMPH

Tελικά ακόμα κυκλοφορούν tributes. Η μόδα είχε εκτιναχθεί στα μέσα της δεκαετίας του 90 όπου οι tribute κυκλοφορίες ήταν…περισσότερες από τις κανονικές (σ.σ. εντάξει, υπερβάλλω) και σταδιακά παρήκμασε. Να όμως που έχουμε 2 καινούργια tributes, το 3πλό cd Shining On: Pink Floyd Tribute Collection και το μονό Magic Power: All Star Tribute To Triumph. Ας ξεκινήσουμε από το Shining On: Pink Floyd Tribute Collection που θα κυκλοφορήσει στις 25 Ιουνίου, συμμετέχουν ονόματα όπως οι Rick Wakeman, John Wetton, Todd Rundgren, Steve Howe, Steve Hackett κ.α. Στο track list μπορείτε να διαβάσετε ποιοι συμμετέχουν ανά τραγούδι. Στο πρώτο cd ακούγεται ολόκληρο το Meddle(1971)όπου το San Tropez τραγουδάει ο Graham Bonnet και τον συνοδεύουν οι Rick Wakeman, Chris Poland (Megadeth) και ο ντράμερ των Slayer, Dave Lombardo. Στα άλλα κομμάτια παίζουν οι Geoff Downes, Steve Stevens, Bootsy Collins, Martin Barre κ.α. Στο δεύτερο cd ακούγεται ολόκληρο το The Dark Side of the Moon(1973) ερμηνευμένο από τους Adrian Belew, Robby Krieger, Tommy Shaw, Wakeman, Wetton, τον ηθοποιό Malcolm McDowell κ.α. Τέλος, στο 3ο cd ζωντανεύει το Wish You Were Here, από τους Wakeman, Ian Paice, Rundgren, Geoff Tate, Joe Satriani, James LaBrie, Bootsy Collins, Jah Wobble κ.α.

 Στις 6 Ιουνίου θα κυκλοφορήσει το Magic Power: All Star Tribute To Triumph, με τραγούδια των Καναδών Triumph, ερμηνευμένα από τους Dorothy, Sebastian Bach, Nancy Wilson, Joey Belladonna, Slash και Jeff Keit. Η μπάντα που παίζει στα 15 τραγούδια αποτελείται από τους ντράμερ Kenny Aronoff και Tommy Aldridge και τους κιθαρίστες Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, Paul Gilbert και Nita Strauss. Την παραγωγή επέβλεψε ο Mike Clink. Το Magic Power θα κυκλοφορήσει σε CD/2πλό βινύλιο και θα συνοδεύεται από 12σέλιδο ένθετο.
